Calling myself a ‘girl’ maybe me being a bit too kind to myself….but I am going to do it anyway! 😀
As a means of introduction, I am a 30 year old professional who has come from a working class and modest background. From a family of migrants, I have gone from a deprived borough with no grammar or private schools to one of the top universities in the world. I have also dabbled in beauty pageants taking part in two national competitions for the Miss World title.
The different experiences which life has blessed me with, has enabled me to gain insights into a variety of different aspects of the world.
I therefore, wanted to start a blog to allow an opportunity to share some of the experiences I have or those I will come across. I have always been told that the feelings I go through are not unusual therefore I wanted share these intimate insights into my life to let you know that you are not alone.
Having said the above, I endeavour to throw in some less serious blogs including my latest obsession with lipsticks….I was a late starter when it came to lipstick having always been a lip gloss girl 😉
